If you are interested in submitting a resolution to the Manitoba Canola Growers AGM, see our new guidelines and worksheets in our Resolutions page, or call Liz at (204) 982-2122 to receive them. All resolutions must be submitted to the MCGA office by February 17, 2012. They can be faxed to (204) 942-1841 or emailed to rossb@mcgacanola.org.

AGM/Special Meeting and Canola Storage Clinic
MCGA's AGM/Special Meeting and Canola Storage Clinic will be held February 28 in the UCT room in Keystone Centre in Brandon. You can register online until February 21 online (link below), with a tax-included charge of $30 for those attending the Canola Storage Clinic. Attendance at the AGM is free.

Chef mj feeke receives the 2012 canola award of excellence

Chef Mary-Jane Feeke added one more title to her venerable list of accomplishements last week. She was named the recipient of the 2012 Canola Award of Excellence, presented by Manitoba Canola Growers Association. She was presented with the award on Canola Day, at Ag Days in Brandon last week. Chef MJ is a supporter of local healthy foods and ingredients that includes canola oil, a product she has become a strong ambassador for.
MJ is a pastry chef for Manitoba’s culinary Olympic team, teacher and owner of Benjamin’s Gourmet Foods in Selkirk.
