MCGA Hires Myers Norris Penny
Manitoba Canola Growers Association has hired Myers Norris Penny (MNP) to handle their 2003 Director election process. Bill Ross, Executive Manager for MCGA, says, "MNP will develop and print the ballots and envelopes used in the election, and will be responsible for receiving and counting all ballots." Ross is looking forward to working with Myers Norris Penny as they have a long history of handling election processes. The most resent election experience was with the Canadian Wheat Board director elections.
Bruce Dalgarno, President of MCGA, sees this as a positive step for MCGA. During the MCGA Annual Meeting, January 20, 2004 in Brandon , the question will go to the members on whether MCGA should continue to hire an outside firm to handle the election process.
The Manitoba Canola Growers Association is a non-profit organization made up of producers who share the goal to develop and promote the development and marketing of Manitoba grown canola.
