Do your Mom a big fat favour!
Do your Mom a big fat favour this Mothers Day make her something yummy with heart-healthy canola oil!
You and Mom need to eat more good fat especially omega-3s. Recent research shows that increasing your intake of omega-3 fatty acids may help reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
Canola oil is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. One tablespoon of canola oil provides an adults daily recommended dose.
And it gets better. Canola oil has half the saturated fats of olive oil and its light flavour makes it perfect for all kinds of cooking, baking and salad dressings.
This Mothers Day, whip up Minty Strawberry and Mango Salad. Its part of a new canola oil recipe booklet called Salads and Vinaigrettes. Call 204-982-2107 or email info@mcgacanola.org to request your complimentary copy. Happy Mothers Day!
