MCGA Hires Myers Norris Penny
Manitoba Canola Growers Association has hired Myers Norris Penny (MNP) to handle their 2004 Director election process. Bill Ross, Executive Manager for MCGA, says, "MNP will develop and print the ballots and envelopes used in the election, and will be responsible for receiving and counting all ballots." Ross is looking forward to working with Myers Norris Penny as they have a long history of handling election processes. The most recent election experience was with the Canadian Wheat Board director elections.
Randy Betcher, President of MCGA, said that during the MCGA Annual Meeting, January 20, 2004 in Brandon, members supported using an outside firm to handle the elections.
The Manitoba Canola Growers Association is a non-profit organization made up of producers who share the goal to develop and promote the development and marketing of Manitoba grown canola.
