Field-Scale Time of Weed Removal in Canola

Field-scale experiments were conducted at several western Canada locations to determine the importance of early weed removal over variable landscapes.

High Erucic Acid Rapeseed (HEAR) Report

The NSERC, Bunge Canada and Manitoba Canola Growers Association Industrial Research Chair Program in High Erucic Acid Rapeseed (HEAR) research and development program (hereafter the HEAR IRC Program) began on April 1, 2003 and ran for five full years to March 31, 2008.

Canola Disease Survey 2009

A survey of 140 canola fields (Brassica napus) was conducted in August and September 2009, between the development stages of 10 - 60 percent seed colour change. Fields were surveyed in the four regions of Manitoba (Central, Eastern/Interlake, Southwest, Northwest) at targeted distance of 20 miles between each field.
